Why did ancient man leave his cave?

" You are the Creator of your own Destiny "

- Swami Vivekanada

Yes, Human Beings are the victims of their own creations. Ever since the discovery of fire, invention of bulb & the creation of concrete jungles, we also began our travel towards the world, full of trash.

It is exhilarating to think that

Our ancestors lived in caves,

Breathing the cool air,

bathing under the fresh waterfalls,

Eating the tastiest of the fruits,

Loving without any intruding people,

Having no hectic deadlines at work,

Waking up whenever one feels like!

Human beings were free to do anything and everything under the sun. Tribal life still exits. And sometimes, i feel jealous of them. They lead a natural, fresh, healthy and most significantly happy life. Once, millions of years ago the whole planet earth enjoyed the same heavenly features. But, inventions are uncontrollable; Discoveries are unavoidable.

Actually, the trouble did not start with inventions and discoveries. It all started with those who wanted to exploit the luxury of these innovative ideas. There was a time when people were craving to have electricity. Presently there are few people who are wondering why the historic invention was made by Edison. And i'm one among them. Though i'm using one of the most sophisticated systems of communication to spread my anxiety, i crave to be eco-friendly by all means and at any cost.

Here comes a poem that was penned down from the bottom of my heart exactly an year ago, when i fell in love with nature in wake of saving its total destruction. It describes the agony of a human being, for not being able to enjoy the natural breeze and the creators' original grace.

Though these words were written on the Valentines Day of the Year 2k9, i would love to dedicate to the COPENHAGEN SUMMIT

WAKE UP HUMAN

HUMAN'S USE 4% OF THEIR BRAIN ONLY!

SCIENTISTS PROVED THIS IN THEIR RESEARCH FIRMLY!

WHAT AMOUNT OF CAPACITY WE POSSESS WITHIN US,

YET LOOSE CONFIDENCE AND MAKE SO MUCH FUSS!

WAKEUP PEOPLE AND REALIZE YOUR POTENTIAL,

AND LET'S UTILIZE OUR ENERGY FOR THE ESSENTIAL!

GOD MADE US THE SUPREME BEING ON EARTH,

WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO PROVE OUR WORTH?

BORN WERE PEOPLE WITH THE SAME CAPACITY,

WHO PROVED THEIR MIGHT WITH A GREAT AUTHORITY!

EDISON GAVE US LIGHT!

AND MADE OUR HOMES BRIGHT!

GRAHAM BELL GAVE US A RING!

WITH WHICH WE ALWAYS CLING!

WE NEED NOT BECOME SCIENTISTS MY FRIEND,

LET'S JUST THINK FOR A SECOND,

ABOUT THE ENERGY WEE SPEND!

SO THAT WE DON'T BRING OUR LOVELY WORLD TO A TRAGIC END!!!
